1 June Liam Ives has joined us as an apprentice on leaving school. It is our policy to regularly recruit school leavers for training as skilled joiners.
May 2015 Gelder completed a large bespoke oak staircase for a property in Cuddington, Buckinghamshire.
March 2015 Julia Bethell joined us as office assistant and bookeeper. Julia will be responsible for the introduction of a computer based accounting system starting in autumn 2015.
1 February 2015 Gelder Joinery has placed an order for a new 950W drum sander with delivery expected at the end of the month.
2 January 2015 Philip Bull has joined us as a skilled joiner with a background in cabinet making, fine veneer work and marquetry. Philip is registered as being deaf.
31 October 2014 Gelder Joinery is now able to offer windows and doors fully painted in our workshop.
7 April 2014 Gelder Joinery has just completed a prestigious project at Oxford’s Story Museum. The work involved a large traditional oak door and a series of six oak window seats.
5 February 2014 Gelder Joinery is very pleased to announce that Carl Hewlett is joining us as general manager at the beginning of March. Carl, who will report to Bryan Gelder has extensive experience in the joinery industry and was a national gold medal winner at SkillBuild 2008.
